| Dr. Sonya Nobbe, BScH, ND |
Following completion of a 4 year degree in Biology at Queen’s University, Sonya completed another four years of professional graduate study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, which is one of two schools in Canada eligible to grant the designation of Naturopathic Doctor (ND). She maintains membership with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is licensed by the provincial government’s Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy.
Sonya regularly contributes health articles to various local and national publications. You may read some of her articles on her website here. Sonya has participated in several government healthcare initiatives, including Health Canada’s Health Professional Information on Climate Change Advisory Committee, and the South East Local Health Integration Network Citizen’s Panel on healthcare.

Dr. Christina Vlahopoulos, BScH, ND |
Christina pursued her professional studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine soon after graduating from Laurentian University with a degree in Integrated Biology. Though Christina uses a wide variety of treatment modalities to address everything from the common cold to severe chronic conditions, she devotes some of her practice to women’s health, fertility, prenatal, and postnatal care. Christina is a doula and member of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors. For 3 years she was a Childbirth Educator for Childbirth Kingston. She regularly contributes articles to local publications and speaks at local events about naturopathic

Following graduation from Queen’s University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and relevant work in the field, Jennifer began her career in healthcare at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Her naturopathic training includes additional certification in the administration of Parenteral (Intravenous) Therapy, which fills an important gap in healthcare in Kingston . She is extensively trained to provide primary health care to patients of all ages and conditions, and devotes some of her practice to the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Jennifer is licensed by the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy and is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. In addition to her practice at KIHC, she maintains a general family practice at the Perth Family Health Centre, and at the BodyKNEADS Health Centre in Kemptville.

Amy is an experienced massage therapist with a growing practice in Kingston. Beyond her
3-year certification in therapeutic massage, Amy is additionally trained in pregnancy massage, myofascial release techniques, hot stone massage, and drug interactions with therapeutic massage. She regularly takes part in our health programs for integrated care for weight-loss, smoking cessation, detoxification, and stress management.
Amy is a registered provider for Veterans Affairs Canada and maintains membership with

| Joel Ackerman, BSSc, RMT |
Joel Ackerman is a graduate of the Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto. In addition to offering relaxation massage, Joel is skilled in treating a variety of conditions, including trigger points, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, neurological disease, and pre- and post-surgical states. He has additional training in myofascial release, Shiatsu techniques, pregnancy massage, and Positional and Dynamic Release. Joel enjoys working with clients of all ages and stages of health, including seniors.
Joel believes strongly in the effectiveness of massage therapy when applied as part of an integrative approach to health. When appropriate, Joel will conduct functional testing and suggest home care stretching and strengthening exercises. Graham has been a Certified Athletic Therapist for 15 years, working in Kingston for the last 10 years. Recently, Graham completed his five years of course work and final examinations at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. He is currently working on his thesis research "The efficacy of regional osteopathy on exercise tolerance and cardiac function of patients with atherosclerosis ", along with researchers from Queens University and the Kingston Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre. Graham is a member in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association.

Jocelyne has had a long career in physical fitness, health and patient care services. She has studied at Queen’s University, the University of Western Ontario, the Upledger Institute, the Ontario Polarity Therapy Association, the Iyengar Institute in India, and the Omega Institute of New York. She is a past registered polarity practitioner, certified fitness teacher and certified yoga instructor. Jocelyne regularly teaches posture education and Mindfulness Meditation.
Jocelyne’s Osteopathic Manual Practice training includes 2 years of pre-osteopathy, 5 years of Traditional Osteopathy training and a research thesis, completed at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. Jocelyne is a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopaths.
Jocelyne maintains a practice at KIHC and at her home on Amherst Island.
| Carol Belanger, BA (Biology), RM |
Carol brings more than 10 years of practical experience and studies to her healing modality and healthcare practice. Her Bachelor’s Degree and work in the field of Biology stimulated her interest in the mechanics of the human body and also encouraged her desire to live a healthy lifestyle in harmony with the natural environment. Her work with the provincial Ministry of Health brought an understanding of the need for reliable, responsible, integrated healthcare. Subsequent study of energy work through Reiki and the Barbara Brennan School of Healing expanded Carol’s interest considerably to develop an inclusive approach to overall health and well-being. Carol believes strongly in the benefits of complementing her energy work with a healing team to gain the integration of knowledge, strength, and support of various specialties for healing injuries, trauma, stress, and illness.
Carol’s skill as a health practitioner is supported by her practice and teaching experience in yoga and qi gong. She is insured and certified at the Master Teacher Level of Reiki and is a member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners. Kaye-Lee Pantony completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at
York
University in Toronto, and graduate work in psychology at the
University of
Toronto. She has been working as a psychotherapist with a diverse
population
since the early 1990s. She is a member of the Ontario Association of
Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists.
Kaye-Lee has an extensive background in mental health research through
her
work at The Clarke Institute of Psychiatry and Queen Street Mental
Health
Centre in Toronto. She also worked as a therapist at the Sexual
Assault
Centre in Brockville Ontario and as a crisis counselor for the
students at
Queen’s University in Kingston.
Kaye-Lee has given numerous talks on mental health concerns and has
written
for a number of publications. In addition to her therapy practice she
designs and runs ecourses and workshops on self development.
